Home, sweet home. Yep-- Chris and I have just finalized the details on our new apartment! Maybe I should back up a bit.... In April, Chris accepted a position with Stein LTC (a long term health care company that owns and manages nursing homes) as the Director of Risk Management. This position did call for a relocation.... to Fort Smith, AR. And that is where we found our charming little tiny apartment: the Ivory House Lofts. Exposed piping. Hardwoods. Giant windows. -- it is just a dream! I am just so excited to begin decorating. Our official move date is July 25th, and until then we will be living in my lovely hometown of Ocean Springs. Right now I am enjoying the sweet life of being a housewife-- a much needed sabbatical-- but come July 30th I will begin training for a management position with Target.
May I present to you: Mr. and Mrs. Woods
The valley in Black Mountain, NC in which we were married was not large enough to hold the love, joy, and excitement that was present among ourselves and our guest on May 27,2012. As we were presented by our pastors, cheers echoed in the mountains and up into heaven. It was the day that I dreamed about since meeting Chris in 2005-- crazy as it sounds, I just knew I'd never want to be without him. Surrounded by our dearest family and friends, we tied the knot at a quaint bed in breakfast that we love very much. I cannot wait to share more photographs of our day with you, my friends, and begin catching you up on the lives of the Woods. Clearly, my blog title is no longer suitable. You will start seeing many changes soon as this space evolves with us.
Love,
Christine Woods

Hello, Friends.
I am so sorry I have neglected my blog to the extreme (you may have seen my May calendar). I am hardly sitting still long enough to do a blog post-- with only 5 days until we leave for Asheville for the wedding, I am running around like crazy pulling details together. It takes LOTS of organization to travel 10 hours with all of the crafts I've done. To help this process go more smoothly I have FINALLY joined the iPhone community. If you'd like to keep up with all the fun...

Oh, Happy May-Day!
What a beautiful month-- My favorite month in fact!
I have so many wonderful events happening, and thank goodness for this fabulous calendar print to outline them for you all. It can be found at Dear Friend, one of my new favorite blogspots. (She has a very fun Etsy store as well-- Check it out!)
May 1st
My final final of my undergraduate career-- No time to be sad, folks, because I am making a surprise visit home to my Fiance before his first day at his grown up job.
May 6th
My twenty-second birthday.... or the first anniversary of my twenty-first as I like to refer to it. Birthdays are a big deal around the Lemon household-- a tradition I will bring into the new Woods' household full force. Homemade signs, singing, cake (or sweets of any kind), and pretty packages. This girl has a serious gift for stretching "Princess for the day" to "Princess for a week"..... or month.
May 12th
The day my undergraduate career at Mississippi State University comes to a bittersweet end. I plan to proudly walk the stage with my beautiful B.B.A. in Marketing waiting for me on the other side.
May 21st
Yep. I went for a younger man. Chris turns twenty two. Like I said... Birthdays are super special around here. What is not to celebrate when your young, healthy, happy... and about to get married!
May 27th
Chris and I will be married in Black Mountain, NC. The details are wrapping up beautifully, so I will be spending the next few weeks fully basking in the excitement of being engaged to this wonderful man.
Happy May to you, my friends.
I love beautiful things.
Simple. Girly. Shiny. Vintage. I am a romantic.
I have loved fairy tales since I was a little girl, and I am almost certain that I am living one. My favorite?-- well it's an absolute toss-up between Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast (maybe because I am somewhat partial to brunette princesses).
Today, I am giving a sneak peek of my photography final project inspired by Cinderella. A special thanks to very dear friends who made my vision happen. Kelsey Marx-- lovely inside and out (I'm sure you will agree) and Jonathon Giuffria (lucky for me he is experienced in the role of Prince Charming).
I will be presenting these Thursday... Wish me luck!
Thank you, Natalie Portman, for this Monday mantra. With finals just around the corner, I'm sure for some reason or another many of you are just as distracted and unmotivated as I am.
I think I can... I think I can... and I KNOW that you can!
Wishing all my friends and readers a beautiful and productive Monday.
You can do it.
Happy Easter!
... after a weekend spent celebrating with family and friends I am back in Starkville with a very busy week ahead of me. A lot is happening with less than 50 day until I am married, so for the sake of my sanity (and more importantly my relationship) I shut off the phone all weekend and just played! It was an amazing weekend on the Mississippi Gulf Coast-- it would not be a stretch to say that it was perfect.
Bike rides. Farmers market. Picnic in Audubon park. Lion King on Broadway in New Orleans. Easter bunny. Beach walks. Time with BOTH my families. Life could not get much sweeter.
